« on: September 29, 2007, 11:26:29 PM »
I am just a little TICKED because I was looking forward to not having the "girl thing" or what Marianne calls "the dot" any more - between the chemo and the Tamoxifen I am on.... and.... darned if I did not start today - last one started 24 days ago on Sept 5th ... and I kept thinking... this is the LAST ONE!!!  ARGGHHH!!

Gonna tell the Dr. to increase my Tamoxifen!   :D

OK - now how PERSONAL was THAT???   :P

Always being the optimist .... my THOUGHTS on getting this cancer were:

1.  Insurance will pay for a breast reduction - no questions asked!
2.  Chemo would make me sick, so I would lose weight
3.  NO MORE PERIODS!!

Now..... the 1st one came true.... at least for 1/2 of me!!
2nd one.... they don't WANT me to lose weight while undergoing chemo....
3rd one.... welll you know the rest girl!!   :-*

Geez, that's all you needed, eh??

Judy darlin, they do not want you to lose weight because if you start losing weight, they feel the treatments are not working.  It's not about your figure, it's about your immune system.  ;)
